The School of Global Environmental Sustainability Pre-College Summer Sustainability Program offers high achieving high school students an unparalleled opportunity to work with professors and graduate students from some of the top ranked programs and departments in the world. Whether the day finds students rafting the Poudre River, visiting the cutting-edge Colorado State University wind tunnel, or hiking through Rocky Mountain National Park, students will find themselves emersed in sustainable education. Each day of the Program will add another piece to the sustainability puzzle. Whether we are on the Pawnee National Grassland with pronghorn and prairie dogs, high in the Rocky Mountains investigating wildfire and ecosystem health, or discovering Old Town Fort Collins, our goal is to help you connect the dots between ecosystems, our society, and the economy. The Program empowers students with a foundational understanding of sustainability that increases their capacity to think of creative solutions and get involved in their community. Mentorship is a core goal of the Summer Sustainability Program. Get a jumpstart on your college career and join us this summer!
