About Maia

I am an Entomologist and instructor within the Department of Agricultural Biology passionate about outreach and teaching (informal and formal). The CSU Bug Zoo is a living collection of arthropods used to visit schools and events across Northern Colorado to share the amazing world of entomology. We focus on highlighting the critical environmental role arthropods play, as well as insects as pests and natural enemies in agriculture with a mainly K-12 focus.
