Engineering Her World Summer Camp

Event/Activity Description

Engineering Her World is one of the three summer camps hosted by Colorado State University’s (CSU) Mechanical Engineering Department and is a week-long, half-day summer camp held at CSU’s state-of-the-art engineering facilities. Engineering Her World introduces young women to the possibilities of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Participants will apply fundamental STEM concepts to collaboratively build and test solutions to open-ended problems and compete in design competitions. Female faculty and student mentors will guide participants through these activities while sharing their personal insights and highlighting their experiences as practicing engineers.

Open to Rising 9th and 10th graders, aged 14-16
