Event/Activity Description

Researching Her World is one of the three summer camps hosted by Colorado State University’s (CSU) Mechanical Engineering Department and is a two-week-long, full-day summer camp held at CSU’s state-of-the-art research facilities. Researching Her World introduces young women to exciting engineering career pathways. Rotations through diverse, interdisciplinary laboratories will introduce participants to various engineering fields through comprehensive research projects. These projects, guided by faculty and graduate student mentors at each laboratory, will take participants through research methods to design, build, test, and analyze solutions to relevant and modern engineering challenges. This camp will not only introduce young women to engineering career opportunities but also empower them to pursue advanced STEM educations.

Open to rising 11th and 12th graders, aged 16-18
