Event/Activity Description
American Society of Mechanical Engineers at CSU presents STEM 4 Kids as an inclusive after-school program designed to help young girls build confidence in the world of STEM! Our hope is to help propel these young girls into STEM by introducing them to creative problem solving through fun projects in an inclusive and safe environment. We want to show more young students that they are accepted and welcome around science, engineering, and technology.
ASME will be holding after-school engineering-based projects every other Thursday starting October 14th, 2021 from 4:00 – 6:30 pm in the Scott Bioengineering Building on Colorado State University’s main campus, room 229. Snacks will be provided along with all the tools and materials necessary to get involved. Admission is completely FREE.
