Muscles Alive!

Muscles Alive! is a professor led neuroscience education outreach program for 4th grade and beyond that used experiential, immersive demonstrations and activities to teach how the brain, nerves, and muscles interact. We used inexpensive, portable, smartphone-based equipment to show live signals from the muscles, measure body movements, and produce captivating proprioceptive illusions.

Brain Awareness Week

The Brain Awareness Week (BAW) program at CSU consists of multiple events each spring semester and typically impacts over 1000 middle and high school students. Volunteers from CSU travel to local schools and provide neuroscience education through interactive, hands-on stations.
