Dr. Maertens serves as the program manager at the STEM Center, which includes contributing to the intellectual merit of STEM education-based research proposals, overseeing research plans and the development of research questions, mentoring undergraduate and graduate students participating in research through funded proposals, and connecting with faculty across campus to bolster STEM education-based research proposals. In addition to her role at the STEM Center, Dr. Maertens also serves as the senior project manager at the ACCORDS program at the University of Colorado-Denver. Dr. Maertens earned her B.S. in Psychology and M.S. in Applied Psychology from Montana State University-Bozeman, and her Ph.D. in Applied Social and Health Psychology from Colorado State University (2011).
