Vincent Paglioni
About Vincent
I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems Engineering at CSU, where my research focuses on human-involved energy systems such as nuclear reactors. My background is principally in nuclear engineering and reliability engineering. I hold an M.S. (2022) and Ph.D. (2023) in Reliability Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a B.S. (2017) in Nuclear & Radiological Engineering from Georgia Tech. I was a licensed Reactor Operator at the Maryland University Training Reactor (MUTR), and previously worked as a Nuclear Test Engineer at Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in Kittery, Maine. Outside of my role at CSU I work with the Journal of Emerging Investigators (JEI), which publishes research from aspiring scientists and engineers in middle and high school.Paglioni_CV
