Sara LoTemplio, Ph.D.
About Sara
Dr. LoTemplio is an Assistant Professor in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources and the director of the RAAIN lab (https://sites.warnercnr.colostate.edu/raainlab/). She is particularly interested in whether/how spending time in nature can improve attention and mood. She uses a variety of quantitative behavioral measures (cognitive tests) as well as psychophysiological measures such as EKG (heartrate) and EEG (brainwaves) in her research. She is also interested in how emotion affects cognition, and basic research into attention and cognitive control. She is a strong enthusiast of science communication and community engagement with science. She received her bachelor’s in psychology and environmental studies from Colby College, and her Masters and PhD in cognition and neural sciences from the University of Utah.
